WHY CREWS CHOOSE IT
Pneumatic Rescue Boat That Launches in 8 Minutes and Carries 14 to 15 People
|
What Is a Pneumatic Rescue Boat?
A pneumatic rescue boat is an air-filled boat that inflates on site and packs small for transport. CWTC's model is a 550 cm flood rescue boat with a 1.2 mm PVC hull, 5+1 air chambers and an aluminum alloy floor. Fire, police, relief and marine survey teams use it as an inflatable rescue boat that one or two people can set up in about 8 minutes.
Key Features of the Pneumatic Rescue Boat
Built for rescue crews that must launch fast, carry a full load and keep working in salt water.
|
01
1.2 mm PVC Hull Built for Salt, Sun and Rough BanksThe hull and air chambers use 1.2 mm PVC fabric, with 0.9 mm available on request. The fabric resists abrasion, salt-alkali, sunlight and ageing, so it holds up on rough banks and in seawater. Crews can run repeated flood, coastal and patrol missions with fewer hull repairs, and a 12-month warranty covers the whole boat. |
|
02
5+1 Air Chambers with Internal BafflesThe boat has 5+1 air chambers with 50 cm side tubes, inflated to at least 20 kPa. Internal baffles seal each chamber and balance pressure between sections. With the hull rated for 14 to 15 people, rescuers get a steady platform when they pull someone from the water. |
|
03
14 to 15 People, 1,400 kg Load, 40-60 HP PowerAt 550 cm by 200 cm, the boat carries 14 to 15 people or 1,400 kg and takes a 40 to 60 HP outboard motor. Its deck fits a rescue team with gear, or a full group of evacuees. One boat moves more people per trip, so fewer crossings are needed in a flood zone. |
|
04
Ready in About 8 Minutes with Two PeopleAn electric air pump inflates the boat in about 8 minutes, and one or two people can unfold it. The packed boat measures 136 x 81 x 50 cm. Teams can launch soon after they reach the water's edge, and one 40HQ container holds 75 sets, which suits stocking many rescue stations. |
|
05
Bonded Tubes and a Sealed Birch TransomTubes are bonded with a special adhesive, and fittings use polyurethane glue that resists heat and cold. The high-density birch transom carries three layers of putty, three coats of anti-corrosion paint and a PU topcoat against seawater, sun and fuel. Your outboard mount stays protected where the boat takes the most punishment. |

Where the Pneumatic Rescue Boat Is Used
|
01
Flood and Urban Inundation RescueFlooded streets cut off roads, and crews need a flood rescue boat that reaches people fast. The pneumatic rescue boat inflates in about 8 minutes and carries 14 to 15 people on a 1.2 mm PVC hull. Teams can begin evacuation soon after they reach the flood edge. |
02
Fire and Armed Police OperationsFire and police teams often launch from banks and docks that were never built for boats. A packed size of 136 x 81 x 50 cm and a setup by one or two people let them carry the boat on a vehicle and prepare it on site. A searchlight bracket and rescue ladder can be added for night work and water recovery. |
03
Marine Survey and Coastal WorkSalt, sun and fuel wear out boat fabric and transoms quickly, and a coastal emergency rescue boat sees all three. The PVC hull resists salt-alkali and sunlight, and the birch transom has three coats of anti-corrosion paint plus a PU topcoat. A 40 to 60 HP outboard is the recommended setup for nearshore runs. |
04
Evacuation and Relief TransportRelief operations must move many people and supplies across water in few trips. The boat takes a load of 1,400 kg, so one run can carry a full group or a stack of supplies. On shore, add inflatable rescue tents and inflatable medical tents for a complete response site. |
