Dome tents can meet long-term living needs under certain conditions, but issues such as ventilation, insulation, and water and electricity supply need to be addressed. Their structural stability is good, able to withstand common wind and rain, but a suitable internal environment is essential for long-term use.

First, the ventilation system needs to be strengthened, such as by installing exhaust fans and fresh air equipment, to avoid dampness and stuffiness.

Second, good insulation is crucial, using thicker tent fabric and laying insulation layers to cope with temperature differences between winter and summer. For water and electricity, external power and water sources need to be connected, or self-sufficiency can be achieved through solar panels and water storage devices.

Furthermore, the tent needs regular maintenance, checking for damage to the frame and tent fabric and repairing it promptly. However, compared to traditional buildings, dome tents may be less effective in terms of sound insulation and privacy protection, requiring improvements through soundproofing materials and curtains. Overall, if the supporting facilities and environmental issues can be properly addressed, dome tents can be a good option for short-term or seasonal long-term living, especially suitable for outdoor enthusiasts or those needing temporary shelter.
