CWTC successfully completed the TPDF MESSES AND INSTITUTES Military Tent Project in Tanzania. The project was delivered in 2023.4 and included 340 military tents designed for long-term military camp use.
These tents were given to the Tanzania People's Defence Force (TPDF) so they could help with lodging, eating, instruction, and the usual day to day camp operations. The whole project also had lighting systems and air conditioning, to make it easier and more comfortable in different weather conditions, so basically yeah it stays usable.

The 5 × 16 m model was the main type used throughout the project because it provides enough space for dining halls, accommodation, training rooms, and storage.
Main Materials
Durable Materials for Long Service Life
Every military tent was built with strong materials suitable for outdoor deployment.
- Outer Roof: 420 g/m² polyester fabric with double-sided PVC coating
- Tent Wall Fabric: 28×2/28×2 military canvas
- Inner Roof: 210D polyester fabric
- Floor: 420 g/m² PVC-coated polyester fabric
These materials provide excellent waterproof performance, UV resistance, and long-term durability. They are suitable for year-round military use.
Practical Design for Daily Operations
Each military tent includes features that improve comfort and usability.
- Doors with heavy-duty zippers
- Windows with insect mesh
- 2-meter entrance shelter
- Package bags for transport
- Ropes, ground stakes, and hammer included
These details make the tents easy to install, transport, and maintain in different environments.
Strong Steel Frame Construction
The frame uses 32 × 1.2 mm galvanized steel pipes for high strength and corrosion resistance.
The structure remains stable under strong wind and frequent use. It is designed for repeated installation and relocation, making it ideal for military field camps.
Complete Camp Support Equipment
Besides the military tents, CWTC also supplied supporting equipment to create a complete camp solution.
